La Neuvième Vague (The Ninth Wave) – Improvisation

When I was exploring the possibilities and power of Piotr Grabowski's new Nancy sampleset this morning, I made a spontaneous recording of an improvisation.

When listening to it afterwards, it evoked the impression of a stormy sea, so I gave it the title "The Ninth Wave". This is a subject/theme also depicted in art, e. g. in paintings, showing huge waves. Thus the forces of nature become apparent here, the subject/theme often denotes hope and a happy ending.
