| Description: | Gunnar Olof Thyrestam (1900-1984) was an organist in Ljusnarsberg and then in Gävle.
He published many organ pieces in neoclassical forms, including preludes and fugues, partitas, toccatas, fantasias, etc.
"Pastorale" was composed in Salisbury, England in 1973.
The harmonies are modern, but the music is expressive and very pleasing.
I must confess that this is the first time I have heard of Gunnar Threstam.
I received this score from my friend, our member "CarlJ", and I thank him for it, and dedicate the performance to him. :-)
