| Description: | Perhaps it was a shame not to use any of the 3 16' feet stops on the Hauptwerk in my first rendition of the Toccata ( http://www.contrebombarde.com/concerthall/music/24457 ) so as an experiment I tried to record it a second time with a fuller registration based on 16 feet on the manual for the toccata with a slightly more relaxed tempo.
For the Fuga, I used a Grand-Jeu for a change. First thema on the Hauptwerk alone (Trompette, Clairon, Cornet and Octave 4, Pedal based on 16' Fagott), second theme on the RP Cromorne+Jeu de Tierce, Both themas with coupled HW+RP, RP coupled to the pedal, and the Bombarde 16 for end. |
