20. Cortege

From Sixty Short Pieces for Pipe or Reed Organ.

This guy is new to me. However, the price for his organ books was cheap enough on Amazon so I thought why not? They are described as being a collection of easy pieces - they can be played on manuals or with pedals. We've all been in situations where we need some music fast that sounds good and is sight readable. Well this books seems to fit the bill.

The 20th piece in the book is this wonderful cortege marked allegro festivo. It calls for full organ and it shows off the full organ sound of the Klais very well. In the middle is a quiet choral before the full organ returns for the end.
