I heard my first organ at Bankstown Square in the early 70's. My parents bought a little Yamaha but I out grew it quickly replaced with a Wurlitzer 4373. I played at the Sydney Opera House in the Yamaha Organ festival in 1975.My first job at Quick Play Music in 1977. In 1984 My wife & I opened our own store in Nowra and for 25 years operated the sale of musical instruments until we sold. My teachers were Kurt Zimmer concert organist for Wurlitzer, Eric Smith a prominent Sydney organist. Though I consider myself a just above average organist these people helped my playing technique immensely.
