I don't remember for sure, but I suppose that I once downloaded the source MIDI from Fazioli's upload at
http://www.contrebombarde.com/concerthall/music/5659 , which is about to celebrate its 5th birthday soon...
So I was curious how good ol' Widor would sound on the Armley Schulze -- looks like a good combination. Additionally, the four speaker pairs in my room (one for each manual and the pedals) result in a pretty interesting spacial separation, so I definitely recommend to download the 7.1 WAV via the filehoster link below, in case your hardware is capable of multi-channel audio playback.
As the registration in the MIDI only works on the same sample set where the file was recorded, I had to do that manually and decided to add my own flavor of how I'd like the piece to sound while re-recording it. Of course, the Great's famous Mixture-V is not missing here... ;-)
The MIDI file attached to this upload contains my re-recorded version with valid registration MIDI messages for the Armley 32-stop Enhanced set. In case you're looking for the original Caen-registered MIDI, please visit Fazioli's post.
Thanks again to Fazioli for his superb contribution to the ConcertHall and his generosity to allow the reuse/re-recording of his work on other sample sets. (Maybe I'll take another try on the Sauer set later... ;-) )
For those who own a 7.1 surround system, an 8-channel FLAC file can be picked up here to get an impression of what it will sound like in my living room:
