Description:	Arnold Joseph Monar, (* 1860 in Disternich-Germany, † 1911 in Bonn), was an organist in Bonn, thereto composer and editor of numerous works for organ. The pieces from his "Weihnachtsalbum" are perhaps not the greatest compositions but very typical for the kind of usual organ-playing on such organs like the Roever in Ditfurt. This is the first of a small selection of five christmas preludes which I will post on contrebombarde today.
