Sommarpastoral (Summer Pastoral)

This is the 2nd of the four pastorals, corresponding to the seasons in their natural order.

Right away, I knew that I wasn't going to like this one. I could just tell. For one thing, it "looked like" piano music... ;-)

Last night, I actually worried about getting up, learning it, and recording it, but once I started it, I found out that I liked it!

It's a happy piece, with LOTS of cuckoo calls!

I chose a fairly simple registration plan with this one. Von Koch gives no registrations other than the general dynamic and manual 1 and manual 2.
