Variationen über "Frère Jacques" - Variation 10

And here is the third and last recording of the final one of Hielscher's Variations on Frère Jacques. This time with the Link/Gaida from Ulm (my home organ where I learned to play).

Each of these organs has its qualities - Eule/Merkator is very precise and rich in reeds and orchestral voices; Mühleisen/Stiftskirche is the most versatile one with lots of solo and toy voices, and Link-Gaida/Pauluskirche has the most subtle, soft, velvetish sound.
