St. Pons-de-Thomières, Micot Organ (1771)
|
| Software: | Hauptwerk VIII |
| Genre: | Baroque |
| Description: | The current discussion about the registration of French Baroque music reminded me of this recording, which was lost last summer in CBCH, so here it is again for the sake of completeness.
Pierre de Mage (1674-1751) composed this Livre d'Orgue at the age of 34, demonstrating a remarkable maturity. It is reported that he also composed a second Livre d'Orgue, but unfortunately it has been lost.
