Reuel Lahmer (b. 1912; d. unknown) was born in Canada and grew up in the USA. He was educated at Westminster Choir College, Columbia University, and Cornell University. He taught in the 1940s at Cornell and at Carroll College, Waukeska, Wisconsin; he also served as head of the theory department at Colorado College. Lahmer was organist 1951–62 at the Church of the Ascension, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He output as a composer included choral, chamber, and orchestral works.
