'A Christmas Quodlibet' combines a meditative harmonisation of ‘Good King Wenceslas’ played on shimmering strings with ‘O little town of Bethlehem’ played at soprano pitch with Octav 2' in the pedals during the second verse.
A special feature of the Steinmeyer organ - the "Melodiekoppel" - was used to couple the Klarinette 8' to the upper voice at 00:26. |
