Today Sonus Paradisi released the sample set of the Mascioni organ (1937) of Este, Italy. I absolutely love the Flauto Camino 4' of the Recitativo. So here a small gem by the young Italian composer Pietro Cattaneo to showcase that stop.
The piece is written in the style of the Flötenuhrstücke by Joseph Haydn. In this case Cattaneo uses the famous easter hymn 'Christ the Lords is risen today' for this piece.
