Description:
Joseph-Ermend Bonnal was born 1880 in Bordeaux and died in the same town in 1944. He studied organ and improvisation in Paris having among others Guilmant and Tournemire as teachers.

I do not know the text of this noel. It is called "Noel landais", so I think, that he got the melody from les Landes, a rural region of forests, swamps and beaches between Bordeaux and Bayonne.
