Here is some personal information from Andreas.
My name is Andreas Nieden and I am not a professional musician, I play and compose every free minute that my job in the IT department of the Bonn UNI Clinics leaves me. The organ has always fascinated me and I take advantage of every opportunity I am given at the queen of all instruments (wherever). Even at a young age I realised that I was capable of composing melodious choral movements to chorales, and so I composed a whole series of song movements for our choir at the time, which were then also performed on occasion. Now, at the age of 60, I pursue composing as a balance to my work, it is a creative and also rewarding work, and I don't mean financially, but the many comments show me that my works are worth listening to!
I am happy that there is such a platform, and especially the many nice people who make up the large community in the first place. May contrebombarde.com be online for a long time and keep this community together!
Andreas is currently composing a Toccata and Fuge in F over "Ein feste Burg ist unser Gott". It will be a monumental work with more than 12 Minutes of playtime. The Toccata ist already finished and now he's working on the 5-part Fugue. It will be uploaded on the 31th October (Reformationstag) or earlier.
