Trio op. 49 n°9 G Major

Josef Gabriel Rheinberger (17 March 1839, in Vaduz – 25 November 1901, in Munich) was an organist and composer, born in Liechtenstein and resident in Germany for most of his life.

I've been to Liechtenstein but didn't make it to Vaduz, I only had an hour waiting for a train to Austria so didn't see his birthplace or church. Very beautiful place though with imposing mountains either side.

Not the best choice of organ as it requires two contrasting manuals but I had the organ loaded and book open for another piece I recorded so I decided just to carry on.
