| Description: | If Starwars was a wagnerian opera, this march would be the leitmotiv of Darth Vader, the big bad guy (very bad).
In the aim to play it, I first got the "official" organ score. But it was much shortened and simplified and a bit disappointing.
So, second, I got the orchestra score and transcribed it (much time spent...). I don't know if the result was faithful but it was anyway unplayable with my piano technique. Bad luck =-(
So, third, I made an unspeakable short mix of the two previous ones. Ashamed to say I even rewrote the introductory fanfare in 7/8 instead of 4/4 because it was easier to play in 7/8. "Traductor, traditor" couldn't apply better. The Strength (or the Force ?) was decidedly out ; too bad, its so fine a music..... |
