Composer: Widor, Charles-Marie
Sample Producer: OrganArt Media
Sample Set: 1925 G.F. Steinmeyer, Berlin, Germany
Software: Hauptwerk VI
Genre: Romantic
Description:
The fifth is probably Widor's most well-known organ Symphony.
All parts are great, especially the flashing Toccata it ends with, but the slow 4th part is also very beautiful.

The Berlin Steinmeyer has the stops to play this small jewel on. The registration indications by the composer can be followed.

The Steinmeyer is a German organ, so the voicing is different from French instruments, but bearing that in mind, a good presentation of this French piece is (imho) possible.
