Description: | Almost four week ago I broke my left wrist, and because of the cast was not able to play with my left hand. Five days ago, the cast came of again, so I could start playing again with two hands.
After three weeks in the cast, my wrist, joints and the finger are all quite stiff, so it'll take a lot of practise to restore my left hand to it's former agility. Nevertheless, I am happy to be able to play again with two hands.
What better piece to retrain my left hand than this light, sunny and joyous piece of Fortunato Chelleri? He was born in Germany, but lived and worked most of his live in Italy. In the few works of him I am familiar with, one can hear the joy of living the good live in Italy.
All 6 of Fortunato's fugues can be downloaded on my site: http://partitura.org/index.php/chelleri-fortunato/ |
