Unbeknownst to me until I was just reading Merkel's bio I have visited Dresden cathedral last year and wandered into an organ concert - so I have heard the organ he would have played, which is pretty cool. It was an amazing sounding organ.

This is a simple prelude and one of the first I learned on the organ. I believe it is Op 15. Number 1.

Hope you enjoy
John
