Today: song number 230 "Gott, heilger Schöpfer aller Stern"
In anticipation of Advent, here is a recording of Bach's "Lob sei dem allmächtigen Gott" from the "Orgelbüchlein". The melody has its origin in the Gregorian hymn "Conditor alme siderum". In the German-language hymn book GOTTESLOB the melody is found under the text "Gott, heilger Schöpfer aller Stern" (song number :230) and is 3 semitones lower.
This recording therefore uses the key of the hymnal GOTTESLOB. A transposition of the work can be found on my homepage

The 4'-sound I have consciously chosen to give the deeper sounding work a bright sound.
Afterwards the chorale can be heard as an accompaniment.
