Wach auf meins Herzens Schöne, zart Allerliebste mein ....

The melody was written by Johann Friedrich Reichardt in 1778, so it can be classified as classical, but it shows romantic traits early on, a feat - in a love song ....

I composed the movement in May 2018 for the church wedding of my daughter.

We performed all 4 verses of the song in the small chapel of Michael in Bonn Bad Godesberg (Germany).

Although there was only a very small organ there, we were able to win Rebecca Hagen, a young soprano, who sang to my movement; and she has a very beautiful, pure and bright voice - it was a very nice experience for all of us.

We listen to the organ in Giubiasco again, as of all the samples I have, it is the most suitable for this purpose. To emphasize the singing voice, it sounds in 2 octaves.
