Trumpet Tune

Michael Porr studied church music at the Robert Schumann Academy in Dusseldorf.
From 1996-1998 he was Cantor of the Kreuzeskirche in Essen.
Since 1998 he is the cantor of the Bielerkirche in Leverkusen and manages the International Organ Forum as well as the Bach Choir in Leverkusen.
He gives concerts in Germany and abroad.

This charming trumpet tune is a good example of his composing.

I played the piece to make it sound good on the Poblet Metzler, using both the 8' and 4' horizontal trumpets an octave lower and sometimes in parallel octaves to get the right result.
