Organ Sonata No. 2 in C Minor (Opus 65)

Organ Sonata Number 2 from Felix Mendelssohn's Opus 65.

The work is in 4 movements: Grave – Adagio – Allegro maestoso e vivace – Fugue: Allegro moderato

Recorded on the virtual pipe organ at my house. This is a former pipe organ console that I converted to MIDI for use with Hauptwerk. The console was originally built by Walcker Orgelbau's North American representative, Werner Knoch, and installed at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church in Stratford, Ontario, Canada.

In this recording, I'm using the organ of St. Bartholomäus church in Friesach, Austria, built in 2000 by Orgelbau Eisenbarth from Passau, Germany. The instrument was virtualized by Piotr Grabowski.
