German church musician and composer Michael Porr (b. 1967) was born in Dortmund and was educated in Düsseldorf. He has held positions in Essen and Leverkusen where he became cantor of the Bielertkirche and director of the Bach Choir. As a composer, Porr’s output includes organ and choral works along with some chamber and orchestral music.
