Composer: John Philip Sousa (1854-1932)
Sample Set: Transsept Rtd. & Dudelange
Software: Hauptwerk IV
Genre: March
Description:
Today at the carnival-day many brass-bands and fools are marching through our little town...
So I made a funny recording for this day.

In the nice book
"2:4 - Orgelmusik für 4 Hände" edited by Karl-Peter Chilla (Strube-Edition 3445)
I found this nice arrangement for 4 Hands.

So I asked the new upcoming organ-duo Engel&Bert; to play two versions:
1.) Transsept-Organ Rotterdam with only two pairs of Flutes 8' and 4'
It sounds a bit like a little barrel-organ
and
2.) Stahlhut-Jann-Organ Dudelange with a "big" registration and use of the pedal
(first you hear the starting of the Motor and blowing up of the big blowers before it starts)
Start at 02:55

I made a midi-file from the "secondo"-part and then I added the "primo" while recording. So it's 2x live played.

I hope, you enjoy it :-)
