Recently I uploaded a few trio studies from "Trios for Organ Volume 1" by Richard Hudson. Now here's a delightful work from Volume 2.
It's in two movements - a slow Recitative, followed by a lively Aria.
Richard Hudson (b. 1924) composed these works in 1971 to prepare his organ students for the trio sonatas of J.S. Bach.
I recorded the movements separately, hence the two MIDI files. Each is a single unedited take. I then combined the corresponding audio files to create the single MP3 for upload.
