Description:
Max Gulbins (1862-1932) studied in Berlin with Heinrich von Herzogenberg and Friedrich Kiel. He worked as music director at Stallupönen (1888), and Insterburg (1896), later as cantor at Elbing (1900), and finally as cantor and senior organist at St. Elisabeth in Breslau (1908). In 1917 he was appointed professor there.
