This piece features a Beta-version of a custom-designed sample of a big French romantic organ. It's definetely Cavaillé-Coll-style, made by Jake (subbas32) who also created the Caen Extension. This one is based on the Metz Plus Extension of Stephen Schaub. (Thanks again Stephen for so certainly allowing me to use your CODM!) The result could be called Metz Plus Plus :-)
It contains the original Metz voices, several stops of Caen, Rotterdam Main organ and Dom Bedos and Velosovo Demo sets. It is possible to imitate the C-C. of Rouen, especially the characteristic Swell, the composition of its Plein jeux, the dark and mysterious reeds and the breathtaking Contrebombarde, realized with two 32' reeds, a little bit detuned. Moreover there are the original Mixtures from Metz Original and on top a Solo Chamade (all not used in this recording) Here I've tried to demonstrate the "Rouen sound" with one of my favourites of Vierne.
In the last part I used the CC-Plenum with the Octaves graves of the Swell and in the very last chords I added two chamades and the Octave Grave of the Grand Orgue.
