Offertoire in D mineur

It is always nice to play something on the sample set of an organ that you bought in the past but that you practically forgot about. This is the case with me and Forcalquier. I visited this small town in France about six years ago before I knew about Hauptwerk and about this organ. It was a very hot day, the church was really dark and I didn't know how beautiful the organ was since there was nobody there to show it to me. It sure looked impressive in the dark and very old and dusty. After visiting the church we climbed the hill for the magnificent view but immediately went to look for a cool place to have lunch. Nice memories.
I like this music for its profound dramatic expressive intensity.
