"Communion", marked "Andante molto," is the most "Boëllmannian" of the group - at least to my way of hearing it. In a sunny E major, the harmonic touches seem to bear his loving fingerprints, and sound like some of his other works.
This pieces uses the Voix Celeste of the Recit, but builds to the full Fonds (NO Hautbois!) before coming back to the strings for the end.
