The great Alexandre Guilmant (1837-1911) needs no introduction, nor does this well-known piece based on G.F. Handel's wonderful melody.

Taken from "18 Pieces Nouvelles, liveraison 6, No. 2, Op. 90," the piece is dedicated to the composer's student, Madame Saenger of New York City.

While I ALWAYS say that I NEVER use "extended" versions of ANY organs, I confess that I DID put on the "fake" 32' Bombarde for the conclusion... ;-)
