Composer: Vadon, Jean
Sample Producer: Lavender Audio
Sample Set: Hereford Cathedral Willis Organ
Software: Hauptwerk IV
Genre: Romantic
Description:
Jean Vadon (1887-1973) was a pupil of both Guilmant and Vierne and a professor at the Schola Cantorum. Also during his life he served in Paris as an organist; first for St.-Ferdinand-des-Ternes, and later for St-Jean-Evangeliste, Montmartre. He wrote a number of organ works, most all of which were published in collections or journals.

It may seem odd to play a piece like this on an English organ, but I have always found the Tuber a great contrast to the caged rage SW for this piece. Perhaps someday I'll give it a try on the Metz (but then one wants chamades... oh well!) This is for Agnus_Dei and pointyflute, since they like the tubers so much!
