Long retired hobby organist who, before Hauptwerk, rarely had access to more than 7 poorly chosen, ill-sounding ranks. Thank you, Martin and sample set producers.
Records from the famous 13th c. wooden church in Tidersrum, Sweden, show that my great-grandfather (1821-1896) tended the bellows (as "orgeltrampare") of the church's 11-stop 1758 Wistenius organ. (It had two bellows, perhaps one for each of his legs....) The case now holds an 11-stop Olof Hammarberg from 1976. My grandparents were married there in 1898.
