It is sometimes rewarding to revisit works learned long ago. One must reclaim them and observe how one's perspective has evolved. While preparing for a harpsichord concert, I began working on Bach’s two-part Inventions again. They are, in fact, far from easy. Here is a rendition played on the organ. It is an excellent preparatory exercise for duos and also trios. The organ allows for a better understanding of the individual voices imho.

The organ of Sankt Gumbertus in Ansbach (Forestpipes) was a very good candidate for this experience.
