I propose you a little game. I've mixed here the HW recording and a CD recording I did a few years ago. Some registrations are different. Of course the recording of the CD was not made in same conditions. The sound engineer and I decided to capture the atmosphere rather than aiming for an overly analytical sound. Of course, the recording level is not the same. I tried to even out the level a bit. Two years ago we played in the church a concert with both organs, the original and its copy.
When played in the same space as the original organ, many people—including a good number of organists—could not really tell the difference. For the occasion, I had rented two high-end 600-watt speakers.
