| Description: | Heinrich Friedrich Frankenberger (1824-1885) was a German harpist, composer and music teacher. Frankenberger was a student of Plaidy, Bescker and Moritz Hauptmann at the Leipzig Conservatory. From 1847, he played as a violinist in the court orchestra of the Principality of Schwarzburg-Sondershausen; he subsequently became Kapellmeister there. In 1867, as a music teacher at the Princely State Seminary, he received the title of Music Director. Among other works, he wrote a music and local history review, "Organs in the Duchy of Schwarzburg-Sondershausen." Frankenberger was one of Hugo Riemann's first teachers.
