Danse Tarantelle styrienne

Debussy composed this piece for piano in 1890. The last revised version was published in 1903. In 1923 Maurice Ravel orchestrated the piece on behalf of Édition Jobert. This transcription for organ by Thierry Hirsch is published by Carus Verlag and has been premiered 2016 by Thomas Ospital in St. Eustache, Paris.
Due to the technical and acoustic particularities of an organ, the tempo of this transcription is closer to the orchestral version than to most of the fiery piano performances. Enjoy!
