Markus Nickel (b. 1966) — Fantabile (2008) for organ
In Feburary 2020 we visited a concert by the German composer and organist Markus Nickel (b. 1966). Since 1993 he has been working as a cantor in Nuremberg, for many years at the Gustav-Adolf-Gedächtniskirche, currently at the Mögeldorf St. Nikolaus and St. Ulrich Church. As a memory to this lovely concert we got a copy of the music collection “Lobsinget dem Herrn”, published by Strube Verlag.
Only when uploading this piece I noticed that Carson Cooman has already presented it on CCH in high quality

Nevertheless I upload my amateur version, for which I used the trial version of the wonderful Hereford sample set. We planned a visit to Herefordshire in our summer holidays, hopefully Corona-time will be over by then, so that we can hear this impressive Willis organ in real life ;-)
