This fantastic piece is a reconstruction of an improvisation by Pierre Cochereau, who recorded this in Notre-Dame Paris 1973.
For the Percussion-Part I wrote the complete partitur for the drums, cimbals and triangle new with the muse-score-program. So I was able to create a MIDI-file for 2 snare-drums, cimbals and triangle.
For the next step I visited my friend Peter, who has wonderful Percussion-Samplings in his computer, and we made a wav-file with my MIDI-file and his fantastic sounds! THANK YOU, Peter!
So I have now a nice play-along-file to perforn this piece together with the Hauptwerk-organs.
This recording was not projected for an upload, I wanted to make only a test-recording, but it worked very well. It is played in one part without any cuttings and without any assistance. A real LIVE-concert-recording with some little mistakes, but I like the result.
After recording the organ part I connected the organ-part and the percussion-part via audacity.
