When playing the entire Second Sonata I normally play the ending as written, but when playing this movement as a stand alone work (which is most of the time) I alter the ending slightly for more dramatic effect. Unorthodox? Absolutely. But it seems to have been well-received by the people that have heard it, and they're the ones (besides the Lord, Who is most important) I'm playing it for. Despite it being "wrong", I hope you enjoy it as well as they have.
