Description: |
The church's organ was built in 2001 by Gerhard Grenzing who is a famous German organ builder living in Barcelona. This is a typical North German Baroque organ. Alain Grandchamp recorded the organ. Although this recording was made with care and a high-quality hardware, its treatment was exceptionally difficult and it was thus necessary to slightly limit the precision and the features of the sample-set. Some organs, because of a very noisy and irregular external traffic can not be well sampled. So is this instrument. Also a malicious but enthusiastic small animal (bird or cricket?), singing a strong and strident accompaniment behind some few stops did not facilitate the things either. This sample-set was thus a challenge. The Augustine’s V.O. assumed the finishing of this so ungrateful recording and the making of the sample-set. |
