I'd not heard this piece until a friend recently played a recital at the Oude Kerk in Amsterdam and I heard this piece on the recording of the progam. I thought it was a neat piece and ordered the music. It is from the book "The Crystal Cathedral Organ Collection - Twelve Pieces for the Hazel Wright Organ" by Robert Hebble
The piece is rather short, so I decided to repeat it to add length.
The first time I use an Oboe solo against celeste accompaniment, and observe all the expression markings in the music.
I liked my friend's more Baroque-style registration at the Oude Kerk, so the second time through I duplicated that with an 8' Bourdon from the Grand Orgue as accompaniment against the Cornet from the Recit. In keeping with the Baroque style, I used no expression.
The final phrase uses the Recit and Positif celestes, with expression.
