Description:
... from "Hommage à Frescobaldi", 1951. Same setup as my Vivaldi recording. I'm using the expression a little (not in the music score). This music is a great show for the Quintaton 16' - considered a "weird" stop :) - here used in the chords. Quintaton 16' is also very much loved by Olivier Messiaen ("married" with an upper fifth harmonic usually), as a solo stop.
