Please forgive this self serving indulgence. I elected to create a short, rather simple multimedia improvisation based on and utilizing five digital images sent to me by my parents this morning. The pictures are obviously family snapshots and almost certainly meaningful only to those who know the people involved but thought I'd post the video anyway.
If nothing else I hope this short, decidedly tonal "one off" will be enjoyable, and if not enjoyable at least serve to encourage the imagination to all that might be possible in the 'brave new world' of Hauptwerk.
Music was improvised in real time, played from a 2 manual Wersi Arcus console with flat German style pedal board. This piece is a "Quartet" only in as much as it employes FOUR media elements (the organ sample set, the synthesizer, the audio samples and the visual images. Also, of course, there are FOUR family members depicted in the images!
