Description:	For this piece, Bach drew inspiration from French models; it combines French and German stylistic elements—hence its original title, "Pièce d’Orgue." For this reason, the ideal instrument is an organ that likewise blends French and German stylistic elements: The magnificent, late-Baroque Trinity Organ in the Abbey Basilica of Ottobeuren.
