1766 Riepp Heilig-Geist Organ (Surround), Ottobeuren, Germany
|
| Software: | Hauptwerk VIII |
| Genre: | Classicism |
| Description: | A fine trio by Johann Ernst Rembt (1749–1810); he was a German Classical period organist and composer, celebrated for his dedication to preserving the contrapuntal "Bach style". A student of J.P. Kellner, he composed heavily in polyphonic forms, largely known for his organ fughettas and trio sonatas.
Played on the beautiful Riepp (Heilig-Geist) Organ with this registration (as indicated in my edition; a dialogue between both upper voices):
RH (Brüstungs-Positiv):
Copel 8', Flet 4', Cornet 3f
LH (Hauptwerk):
Copel 8', Flet 4', Cromorn 8'
Ped:
Copel 16', Flauta 8', Flet 4'
Elegant music, that sounds charming on the Riepp, I think.
Enjoy!
