Description:	Another demo of the New Edition of OAM - 1854/80 Ducroquet-Cavaillé-Coll organ at Aix-en-Provence, France. This Sortie ('ou Entrée') is one of the 120 pieces in "L'Office Catholique" composed by Louis James Alfred Lefébure-Wély (1817-1869). It is a remarkable fugue, because of its character; just a few moments are romantic, but to my ears the main part is a very clear and transparent piece, really 'baroque-ish'. I myself might have guessed wrong ... :-) And it works great on this classical sounding Ducroquet-Cavaillé-Coll instrument! Played on Foundation stops and Trumpets (as indicated in my edition). Again I like the fresh and transparent sound of the reworked sample set ... Next recording will be much more romantic ... Enjoy! Marco
