Johann Sebastian Bach (1685–1750): “Herzlich tut mich verlangen” (I desire sincerly) Chorale Prelude BWV 727 and Chorale No. 21 from the “371 Harmonized Chorales and 69 Chorale Melodies”, with the theme of longing for a blessed end. The music is attributed to Hans Leo Haßler, and the text to Christoph Knoll.
