Composer: Mendelssohn-Bartholdy, Felix
Sample Set: Auenkirche Berlin - Furtwängler & Hammer / Rieger (Pipeloops)
Software: Hauptwerk VIII
Genre: Classicism
Description:
In his brilliant article in the Diapason, Martin Schmeding calls the fourth sonata ‘The “classical” sonata’. When one as feted as he writes such a learned article, I feel that I have nothing left to say, but hope that my playing says something.

The wonderful Auenkirche organ is a glorious vehicle for this music. This instrument reveals further treasures every time that I spend time with it & I hope some of that will be enjoyed by you, dear listener.
